How it works

- Name the hero. Yourself, or someone who would enjoy starring in a story.
- Describe the story in your own words: a place, a joke, an adventure they never had.
- Read page one free, with no account and no card.
- Pay, and the book arrives about two hours later as an EPUB and a PDF, written for that reader alone.

The gift angle
A Novellum book can be bought as a gift. The buyer writes the brief, adds a message and picks a date, and the book is written straight away and held. On the chosen day the recipient gets an email with the message and their book. There is nothing to ship, so there is no shipping deadline: a gift bought on the day still arrives on the day. About the AI
Every Novellum book is written by AI, for one reader only, and nobody else receives the same book. That is disclosed on the site, in each book's colophon and in the book's file metadata, in line with the EU AI Act's transparency rules. The audiobook narration is synthetic and says so. Sarah, the bookseller who greets visitors on the site, is the shop's AI bookseller, not a person.
